Program Admission

Upon successful match with the School of Medical Laboratory Science, final admission into the program will be dependent upon completion of all required coursework, a physical examination performed by the department of Employee Health & Safety, completion of a pre-orientation clinical competency assignment and payment of tuition (or return of tuition waiver agreement). The student will be declined their offered position in the program if any of these criteria are not met.

Academic coursework

Students accepted into the program must have successfully completed all required university coursework – didactic and laboratory - as identified under the academic requirements.

Students will also be requested to submit a final, official transcript from their university (or the National Student Clearinghouse) and a scanned copy of their college diploma before the program start date. The official transcript must indicate the title of the degree earned and date the degree was conferred.

Onboarding requirements

Students will be required to receive (or show proof) of COVID-19, Influenza (current season), Hepatitis B, Tdap, MMR, Varicella, and Meningitis (Groups A and B) vaccination as well as a recent TB test.

Students must also pass standard background checks.
