Corewell Health Greenville Hospital brings the resources of Corewell Health to your community — always with a caring, compassionate approach. Through the contributions of our supporters, we can ensure that our patients receive the highest quality care without having to travel far, making a significant difference in the lives of those we serve.
In October 2025, Corewell Health Greenville Hospital held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly renovated and expanded W. H. Braman Cancer Center, made possible by a generous gift from Willard H. “Bill” Braman’s estate. After one year of construction, the beautifully transformed space fully opened to patients, offering comprehensive wellness services and state-of-the-art cancer treatment close to home. The expansion not only includes additional infusion spaces but also features a brand-new dedicated wellness center. Supportive care offerings, including Beautiful You salon services, massage, and acupuncture, will be increased to reach even more patients in 2026.

Philanthropy helped build healthier communities by supporting outreach, education, and wellness programs that increase access and improve public health. This includes a partnership with seven Montcalm County food pantries to prioritize sourcing and providing more nutritious foods. This year, one pantry created a recipe library to provide simple, healthy recipes using pantry staples. Another adopted a food and nutrition policy with donation guidelines. Two more pantries launched the Veggie Voucher pilot program, delivering $1,500 worth of produce and nutrition education to 150 families. Thanks to your support, this program will continue to guide nutrition improvements and encourage healthy practices in our community.
In 2025, philanthropy provided support for capital improvements at the Greenville Rehab and Nursing Center, improving the quality of life for residents. The first project transformed the old shower room into a spa-like space, with new floor and wall tiles, improved lighting, and a beautiful vanity, promoting a relaxing and inviting atmosphere for personal care. The second project included the installation of an awning on the patio, an area that previously had no shade. The adjustable awning can be moved so all residents are able to enjoy being outside at any time of day, safe from the sun and heat.
This year’s Corewell Health Greenville Hospital Charity Ball raised over $90,000 to benefit the John M. Higgins Nursing Endowment, which provides an opportunity to increase education, enhance well-being, and promote workplace safety for nurses at Greenville Hospital. 263 guests were in attendance, including several tables of Greenville nurses! As part of the program, Dr. Jus Amparo was also honored with this year’s Fred and Lena Meijer Spirit of Caring Award, which recognizes individuals who demonstrate a deep commitment and extraordinary generosity to the hospital and Greenville community.

The 2025 Corewell Health Greenville Hospital Golf Day celebrated 25 years of empowering families and transforming lives across Montcalm County through the Maternal Infant Health Self-Sufficiency Program! The event raised over $36,000 for the program, which provides new and expectant mothers with the resources and support they need to give their babies a safe, healthy start in life. Thank you to all who participated!
Philanthropy supports programs that enable us to lend a helping hand to some of our most vulnerable community members. These are just a few examples of the impact your gifts made in 2025:
A patient with a recent cervical cancer diagnosis had a lot of associated medical bills – along with her normal household bills – that she was trying to maintain. Unfortunately, the cost of her oral chemo medication was completely unaffordable. Philanthropy was able to cover the cost of her medication so she could treat her cancer as needed without falling behind.
A patient and her husband faced significant hardship, including a cancer diagnosis, while also struggling with housing insecurity. They had depleted their 401k and were preparing for winter without heat or electricity in their home. Philanthropy paid their utility bills, allowing them to manage their health challenges without an additional burden of debt.
A family welcomed a new baby this summer, joining two other children. Mom and Dad both worked hard to maintain their home garden. When their stove broke, philanthropy helped purchase a new one – supporting their goal of self-sufficiency through home cooking.
