The science of mental health

At Corewell Health, we believe mental health is essential to overall health. Psychiatric testing

A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation can help to diagnose emotional, behavioral, or developmental disorders. Because symptoms and behaviors vary, our testing processes are highly customized.

Your evaluation may include the following:

  • Description of behaviors and symptoms
  • Effects of behaviors/symptoms on work, school, or relationships
  • Psychiatric interview
  • Personal and family history
  • Complete medical history
  • Bloodwork, X-ray, educational assessments, speech and language assessments, and psychological assessments

We offer both inpatient and outpatient care

We offer a full range of services within both of the inpatient and outpatient care options.

Outpatient psychiatric care

Our board-certified psychiatrists will work with you in a comfortable, office-based setting to treat conditions ranging from ADHD, autism, and anger management to addiction, anxiety, and depression.

Inpatient psychiatric care

If you are no longer able to function at home or work, we provide a safe place to be evaluated, monitored, and treated. With a mix of compassion and expertise, our goal is to help you take control of your mental health and well-being.
