Primary care updates in cardiovascular care

Frederik Meijer Heart and Vascular Institute and Corewell Health Primary Care join in partnership to bring a newly enhanced, primary care focused cardiovascular agenda. Join some of Michigan’s top heart and vascular specialists for interactive sessions on key topics and clinical findings in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease.

Highlights include discussions on:

Heart failure 101 for the primary care physician
Women’s health: when are women different than men in cardiology
The new atrial fibrillation guidelines: key concepts in management
The three amigos: cannabis/stimulants/vaping in cardiology and what to tell outpatients

Non-physician: $149
Fellow/resident: $49

The registration fee includes:

Tuition and materials for one (1) attendee

Additional guest fee

Adult and children over the age of 13: $100 per person
Child 3 to 12: $50 per person
Child 2 and under: Free

Cancellations

For a full refund, a written cancellation must be received by Jan. 7, 2025. Cancellations can be sent to amy.fuller3@corewellhealth.org. Fees will not be refunded for no-show registrants.

This event is intended for physicians, mid-level providers, nurses, residents, fellows, medical students and health professionals in primary care, cardiovascular, outpatient care, urgent and emergency care.
